Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that complaint dated 4th June, 2026 is not taken into consideration by the concerned police authorities consequently no steps are taken for initiating prosecution. Petitioner prays for direction upon the concerned police authorities to provide protection for ensuring safety and security. 3. Learned advocate representing the State respondents has filed a communication dated 14th June, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Nabadwip Police Station and same is taken on record. Copy of the communication dated 14th June, 2026 is made over to the learned advocate representing the petitioner. 4. It is disclosed in the communication dated 14th June, 2026 that as petitioner prayed for police protection, during enquiry petitioner and his family members were assured that adequate police assistance would be provided whenever required. According to the police authorities petitioner can lead his normal life. 5. Having taken note of the contents of the communication dated 14th June, 2026, no further order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of. 6. However, concerned police authorities are directed to provide protection to the petitioner, if occasion so arises. 7.
