2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Cyber P.S. Case No. 13 of 2026 registered for the offence under Sections 303(2), 318(4), 319(2), 338, 336(3), 112(2) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Sections 66(C) and 66(D) of the IT Act.

The allegation against the petitioner is that an amount of Rs.2,09,88,084/- was credited to his bank account by inducing people to invest their money in gaming, share market and trading through cyber fraud. It is further alleged that the petitioner knowingly provided his bank account details to the co-accused for receiving the money involved in the said
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.26739 of 2026(5) dt.19-08-2026 2/2 activities, thereby actively participating in the alleged cyber fraud.
4. The petitioner is in custody since 01.03.2026. The allegations against the petitioner are serious and grave in nature. There exists prima facie material against the petitioner indicating his involvement in the commission of the offence.
5. Considering the nature of the accusation, the gravity of the offence and the materials available on record, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands dismissed.
7. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
