1. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the action of the respondents in assigning her seniority from 14.10.2010, i.e., the date on which she joined at the transferred place pursuant to an administrative transfer, instead of reckoning her seniority from her initial ASHUTOSH MISHRA Digitally signed by ASHUTOSH MISHRA Date: 2026.07.29 11:02:06 +0530
2 date of appointment as Shiksha Karmi Grade-III, i.e., 27.02.2009. The petitioner has also questioned the seniority list dated 12.06.2026 to the aforesaid extent and seeks a direction for consideration of her pending representation dated 18.06.2026, whereby she has prayed for correction of her seniority by counting her continuous service from the date of her initial appointment.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already submitted a detailed representation dated 18.06.2026 before the competent authority pointing out her grievance that while preparing the impugned seniority list dated 12.06.2026, her seniority has been reckoned from the date of her joining at the transferred place, i.e., 14.10.2010, instead of from the date of her initial appointment dated
27.02.2009. It is further submitted that the said representation is still pending consideration. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the aforesaid representation in accordance with law within a stipulated time.
3. Learned State counsel submits that she has no objection in deciding the representation of the petitioner.

Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the petitioner's pending representation dated 18.06.2026, by passing a reasoned and speaking order, strictly in
3 accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 45 (forty-five) days from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's claim and the competent authority shall take an independent decision in accordance with law.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the writ petition stands
