It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that he does not wish to press the instant writ petition on merits and would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner by treating the instant writ petition as a representation. 3. Mr. Jahangir Dar, learned Government Advocate, expresses no objection to the said prayer. 4. Having regard to the submissions made at the Bar, the instant writ petition shall be treated as a representation and laid before the Chief Engineer, Jal Shakti Department, Kashmir, Rajbagh, Srinagar, who shall consider the same in accordance with law and, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and pass a speaking order at the earliest. 5.
