JUSTICE SURAJ GOVINDARAJ ORAL ORDER 1. Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for respondent Nos.1 to 4. 2. Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a) Call for the entire records in respect of the representations made and from the Office of the Respondent No.5 Satellite Club/Society commencing from the month of December 2025 to till date; b) To Issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 to consider the petition/representation to take immediate steps to conduct General Body Meeting and not to allow the so called self styled Ad-hoc President not to meddle with the financial transactions in the Bank at Apex Bank, Federal Bank and Axis Bank, until duly elected body is constituted, so as to prevent the misuse and utilisation of the huge funds in the name of Respondent No.5 Club; c) To issue writ of Mandamus against the Respondent No.2 & 3 to take immediate steps by appointing a responsible officer of the rank Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Society to call for the General Body Meeting and to notify the elections by publishing calendar of events and service of notice to all the registered lawful members. d) To issue Writ of Mandamus directing the Ad-hoc President not to induct any member in the club between December, 2025 till elections are concluded. - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010467442026 NC: 2026:KHC:36663 WP No. 21367 of 2026 e) Grant such other order/direction/s as this Hon'ble Court deems fit to grant, in the circumstances of the case. f) Cost of the proceedings. 3. Though the grievance of the petitioner is that respondent No. 5/private club registered a society, no elections have been held for the office bearers, and the submission of learned counsel is that an enquiry needs to be conducted. 4. However, a perusal of the prayers extracted above would indicate that the petitioner is seeking for a direction to the official respondents to conduct the elections of the club as also a restraining order restraining the existing elected body not to operate the bank accounts. 5. Such a relief cannot be granted in a writ petition, reserving liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent Civil Court having jurisdiction, the petition stands disposed.
