1. The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973), seeking issuance of directions to the official respondents to conduct the investigation in a fair and impartial manner in case bearing FIR No.125 dated 01.09.2025 under Sections 318(4), 61(2) of BNS (corresponding to Sections 420, 120-B of IPC) at Police Station Mamdot, District Ferozepur, Punjab and further seeking directions to respondent No.4 to decide representation dated 13.09.2025 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, petitioner would be satisfied if appropriate direction is issued to the respondent No. 4- Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur, Punjab, to consider and decide representation dated 13.09.2025 (Annexure P-4) moved by petitioner and take necessary action thereupon in a time bound manner in accordance with law.

3. Notice of motion to official respondents only.
4. Mr. J.S. Rattu, learned DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents and submits that needful would be done in due course.
5. Keeping in view the limited prayer made by petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 4- Senior Superintendent of Police, Ferozepur, Punjab, to decide the aforesaid representation dated 13.09.2025 (Annexure P-4) submitted by petitioner within a period of four weeks’ from today by passing a reasoned and speaking order, in accordance with law and take appropriate action, if so required.
6. However, if, respondent No.4 does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the representation, the petitioner shall be informed as per mandate of law.
7. Petition stands disposed of.
8. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
