Mr. Dutta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that there is no question of compensation in the case on hand as the land in question was gifted by the petitioner in favour of the State of West Bengal by a registered instrument. Mr. Dutta further submits that the petitioner is carrying out the operational work under Mechanical Divisional agency in contractual basis and drawing the salary from respective agency from time to time since inception. However, since the petitioner is not represented, WPA 18865 of 2025 stands dismissed for default.
