This Civil Petition is filed by the petitioner/wife for transfer of M.C.No.60/2025 filed by the husband for divorce before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Udupi, to the Court of Principal Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Nelamangala, Bengaluru rural District, Bengaluru. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the petitioner is residing in Bangalore with her parents and her - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010023002026 NC: 2026:KHC:36835 CP No. 14 of 2026 minor child. It is further stated that the petitioner has no independent source of income and her father is suffering from paralysis. She has said that she will be in danger at the hands of the respondent if she attends the Court at Udupi. Distance between Udupi and Nelamangala is 371 kilometers. Therefore, considering the arguments of learned counsel for petitioner and in the absence of respondent arguments, this Court finds that it is just and reasonable to transfer M.C.No.60/2025 from the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Udupi, to the Court of Principal Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Nelamangala, Bengaluru rural District, Bengaluru.
