Learned counsel submits that the petitioners have been denied 3rd ACP on account of they having forgone the promotion for 6 months to the post of Circle Assistant, however, similarly circumstanced Balwan Singh, who was working as Commercial Assistant was also promoted as Circle Assistant, however, he has forgone promotion for 1 year, as is apparent from the order dated 01.03.2011, Annexure P-6, whereby his promotion was cancelled, however, he has been granted the benefit of 3rd ACP w.e.f. 13.11.2010 vide order dated 29.11.2012, Annexure P-7. He prays that their claim be re-considered in terms thereof. 2. Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made. 3. In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to re- consider the claim of the petitioners, expeditiously, in accordance with law, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.
