Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner may be allowed to make representation seeking promotion from the post of Departmental Labour (Ancillary Labour) to Class III or IV post. 2. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that there is no provision for promotion as sought by the petitioner, yet if a representation is filed by him, it will be considered in accordance with law. 3. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 4. Be that as it may, petitioner is directed to make a representation before the respondents/competent authority for his promotion from the post of Departmental Labour (Ancillary Labour) to Class III or IV post, which will be considered and decided by the respondent/competent authority within six weeks from the date of representation by passing a reasoned and speaking order, absolutely in accordance with law. 5.
