Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioners are assailing the impugned notice dated 04.07.2026 (Annexure-H) issued by the respondent No.2. 4. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties, on careful consideration of the impugned notice produced at Annexure- H would indicate that the notice has been issued under Section 104 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 which is penal in nature.
