GP MUNCIPAL ADMN AND URBAN DEV AP The Court made the following: 3 Order:- The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was entrusted with four (04) works, i.e., (i) Providing doors and windows shutter to Package-4 of G+3 pattern houses under JnNURM-BSUP Housing Project at Ajith Singh Nagar, Vijayawada, Rc.E12-147175/2016, vide Agreement No. SE/11/2017-18, dated 19.07.2017; (ii) Providing UGD facilities to G+3 pattern housing blocks in Package-5 at Ajith Singh Nagar (under JNNURM-BSUP Housing Project), Rc.E12-144751/2016, vide Agreement No. SE/9/2017-18, dated 29.06.2017; (iii) Providing UGD facilities to G+3 pattern housing blocks in Package-4 at Ajith Singh Nagar (under JNNURM-BSUP Housing Project), Rc.E12-144750/2016, vide Agreement No. SE/8/2017-18, dated 21.06.2017; and (iv) Providing water supply and pump facilities to the G+3 pattern houses constructed at Sri Ram Energy Plant, Ajith Singh Nagar, Vijayawada for Package-4 (12 Blocks) (JnNURM-BSUP Housing Project – Rs. 98.05 lakhs), vide Agreement No. CE/44/2017-18, dated 09.11.2017. 2. It is submitted that the petitioner had completed the works entrusted to him and that the competent authority of the respondents had also approved the payment due and payable to the petitioner. It is also submitted that the same can be verified from the entries mentioned in the M-Book. 3. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development Department, Sri S.V.S.S. Siva Ram, learned Standing Counsel for 4 the 4th respondent, and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning. 4. During the course of hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 4th respondent submits that the works are completed and that the petitioner has also submitted his final bill. 5. Considering the submissions that the works completed by the petitioner are not disputed and also considering the endorsement in the M-Book, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition at the admission stage, directing the respondents to verify and release the payment due to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. 7.
