Mr. Nigam Mittal ….for the petitioner Affidavit of service filed in Court today is taken on record. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the respondents have been duly served. In spite of service none appears for the respondents. The petitioner states that pursuant to a work order issued by the Mal Municipality the petitioner has supplied the required units of Solar light system. The petitioner claims that the petitioner has raised bills for such supply of materials but till date the bills raised by the petitioner has not been cleared by the authorities of Mal Municipality. Petitioner submitted a representation before the Chairman, Mal Municipality by a letter dated February 2, 2026 requesting the said authority to release the payment in favour of the petitioner. The learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that in spite of receipt of such representation, 2 no decision on such representation has been communicated to the petitioner till date. Without entering into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner in the letter dated February 2, 2026, WPA 1251 of 2026 stands disposed of by directing the Chairman, Mal Municipality to consider the representation of the petitioner dated February 2, 2026 and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order and communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner immediately thereafter. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible but positively within a period of 6 weeks from the receipt of a server copy of this order together with the copy of the representation dated February 2, 2026. If the said authority decides in favour of the petitioner, all consequential steps thereof shall be taken by the said authority. There will be no order as to costs.
