This Court, vide order dated 22.01.2026 passed in MCRC No. 10380 of 2025, while allowing the bail of the petitioner, namely, K.K. Shrivastava @ Krishn Kumar Shrivastava had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of that order. 3. The learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Raipur District- KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 Raipur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 20.07.2026 has requested for grant of twelve month’s additional time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the P.U.D. that the complainant remained outside the country till 13.07.2026 and thereafter, also did not appear before the trial Court. The record further reveals that summons and bailable warrants issued to the remaining prosecution witnesses could not be served. Owing to the non-appearance of the complainant and non-service of process upon the other witnesses, the prosecution evidence could not progress. It is further revealed that the evidence of 40 prosecution witnesses still remains to be recorded. In the aforesaid circumstances, the learned Trial Court has sought extension of time and has prayed for grant of a further period of twelve months for recording the remaining evidence and concluding the trial and final disposal of the case. 5. The request made by the learned trial Court, is allowed, however, instead of granting 12 months, this Court deems it appropriate to grant further 05 months time for concluding the trial from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
