1. Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner herein is Private Limited Company and has filed a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 against the respondent for dishonour of cheque. 2 Magistrate First Class, Bilaspur (C.G.). As the charges has been framed on 12.12.2025, yet evidence has not been recorded. As such, it is prayed that appropriate directions be issued for expeditious disposal of the pending trial.
2. Upon perusal of the material available on record, this Court is of the opinion that the ends of justice would be served by directing the Trial Court to dispose of the aforesaid criminal case expeditiously. Accordingly, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the concerned Trial Court Judge is directed to make all endeavour to hear and finally decide Criminal Case No. NEGO.INST.ACT/111/2023, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six month from today, in accordance with law.
3. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands disposed of. Sd/-
