The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Katkamdag PS Case No.102 of 2025, for offence registered under section 137(2), 189(2), 126(2), 117(2), 115(2), 109, 303(2), 308(5), 352, 351(2) of BNS, 2023 and Section 27 of the Arms, pending in court of learned Judicial Magistrate, at Hazaribagh. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that there are general and omnibus allegations of extortion and assault against all the accused persons. He next submits that the altercation took place due to land dispute and two of the accused persons have been granted anticipatory bail in ABA Nos.6047 of 2025 and 7481 of 2026:JHHC:409 2 2025 and the allegation is against Piyush Pandey of firing. He then submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.11. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that allegation is there against the petitioner of assault. 5. Looking to the contents of the FIR, it transpires that there are general and omnibus allegations against all the accused persons of assault and prima facie, it transpires that there is land dispute between the parties and two of the coaccused persons have been granted anticipatory bail as aforesaid and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as above, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to petitioner. 6. Accordingly, petitioner, above named, is hereby directed to surrender before learned court within four weeks from today, and in event of his surrender/arrest, petitioner, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand), with two sureties of like amount each, to satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, at Hazaribagh, in connection with Katkamdag PS Case No.102 of 2025, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023.
