1. Simple prayer made by learned Senior counsel for the petitioner is just to issue appropriate directions to the learned Civil Judge (Senior Division), Union Territory, Chandigarh for expeditious and time-bound disposal of Civil Suit bearing CS. No.2251 of 2020 titled “Vikramjit Kaushik Vs. Dipinder Singh Brar and others.”, pending before the said Court. Learned counsel submits that though the suit was filed way back in the year 2021 but it is still at the stage of disposing of the application under order 39 Rule 1 and 2 CPC. Learned counsel submits that another Civil Suit bearing CS No. 2322-2021 between the same parties is pending before the same Court and necessary directions have been issued by this Court on 27.05.2026 in CR-4522-2026.
2. Having noticed the contentions of learned counsel and without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the present petition stands disposed of with a direction to the concerned trial Court to take every possible step, to dispose of the suit referred above as expeditiously as possible by giving short dates.
3. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
