Heard Mr. Pranab Jyoti Saikia, learned senior counsel, assisted by Ms. Manisha Nirola, learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the applicants. 2. By way of filing this interlocutory application, the respondents No. 6 & 7, as applicants, are seeking permission for withdrawal of the affidavit-in-opposition filed by them in the connected writ petition being WP(c)47/2025 on the ground of certain formal defects with liberty to file a fresh affidavit. 3. The learned senior counsel for the applicants, submits that no prejudice would be caused to the writ petitioner as the defect is formal in nature. 4. The prayer so made by the applicants has not been objected to by Ms. Valentina Laldinpuii, learned counsel for the writ petitioner. 5. In view of the above, the interlocutory application stands allowed. 6. The applicants are allowed to withdraw the affidavit-in-opposition filed by them on behalf of the respondents No. 6 & 7 in WP(c)47/2025 with liberty granted to the said respondents to file a fresh affidavit-in-opposition within a period of 3(three) weeks from today with advance copy of the same to Ms. Nirola, learned counsel for the writ petitioner.
