ORAL JUDGMENT (PER: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN)
This Writ Petition (Habeas Corpus) is filed seeking to issue an order or direction to respondent No.4 to produce the petitioner's minor child before this Court. It is contended that the custody of the child was with the petitioner in terms of a compromise entered into between the parties before the Family Court and that the child had gone to Singapore to be with the 4th respondent, who is now detaining the child in Singapore.
2. We have heard Shri.Prashant Mendiratta, learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, Shri.Jagadeesh B.N, learned State Public Prosecutor-I appearing for respondents No.1 and 2, Smt.Shwetha Krishnappa, learned Central Government Counsel appearing for respondent No.3 and Smt.Sahana Basavapatna, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4.
3. We have also interacted with the writ petitioner, who is present in-person, as well as respondent No.4 and the child through video-conferencing.

4. We have interacted alone with the child for a considerable time. We are of the opinion that this is not a matter for this Court to consider a petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking a writ of Habeas Corpus. It is for the parties to approach the appropriate forum with regard to custody and welfare of the child.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition (Habeas Corpus) stands disposed of, without prejudice to the contentions of the parties.
