The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Section 438 of Cr.P.C.) with a prayer to grant anticipatory bail to him in case FIR No.164 dated 28.12.2024, registered under Sections 406, 420 of IPC (Sections 316(2), 318(4) of BNS), at Police Station Urban Estate, Patiala, District Patiala. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of the order dated 14.05.2026, passed by this Court, the petitioner had deposited a sum of Rs.1.50 lacs with the Court of Area Magistrate/trial Court and has joined the investigation. 3. Learned State counsel has submitted that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for further investigation. 4.
