Accused No.7 in Crime No.55 of 2026 registered by Konanakunte Police Station, Bengaluru City for offences punishable under Section 316(1), 318(2), 61(2), 336(3) of BNS 2023 is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 seeking the anticipatory bail. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.55 of 2026 was registered by Konanakunte Police Station, Bengaluru City for the aforesaid offences against Anish K and others, based on the first information dated 20.02.2026 received from Sri D. Kumaresh, authorized representative of a financing company known as "Repco Home Finance Limited". Apprehending arrest in the said case, petitioner had filed Crl.Misc.3204 of 2026 before the jurisdictional Sessions Court, which was rejected on 23.04.2026. Perusal of the material on record would go to show that, the petitioner is a practicing advocate and he was also working as a legal advisor to the complainant company. Allegation as against him is that he had given his legal opinion based on the documents which were forwarded to him by accused no.9, who is the manager of the company. Under similar allegations, FIR in Crime No.56 of 2026 was registered by the very same police station for the aforesaid offences and in the said case, petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Criminal Petition No.8947 of 2026 disposed of by order dated 06.07.2026. Petitioner has undertaken to cooperate with police for the purpose of investigation. Under the circumstances, the following:- ORDER The criminal petition is allowed. The respondent - Police or any other police in the State of Karnataka are directed to release the petitioner in the event of his arrest in Crime No.55/2026 registered by Konanakunte Police Station, Bengaluru City for the offences punishable under - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010473482026 NC: 2026:KHC:37145 CRL.P No. 10328 of 2026 Sections 316(1), 318(2), 61(2) and 336(3) of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: 1. The Petitioner shall appear before the Investigating Officer within 15 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the investigating officer. 2. Petitioner shall regularly appear before the Trial Court without fail unless exempted by the Trial Court for valid reasons. 3. Petitioner shall not tamper with the prosecution witnesses and he shall co-operate with the police for investigation and appear before them whenever called upon. 4.
