1. Perused the documents.
2. From perusal of the documents, it appears that the petitioner seeks a limited relief of issuance of an appropriate direction to the respondent authorities for consideration of his claim for grant of leave encashment in accordance with the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Work-Charged/Contingency Paid Employees Leave Rules, 1977.
3. It appears from the pleadings that the claim of the petitioner is founded upon the decision rendered by this Court in Faguvaram Patel & Others v. State of Chhattisgarh & Others in W.P.(S) No. 3870 of 2021 decided on 30.09.2022, which stands affirmed by the Division Bench in W.A. No. 119 of 2023 decided on 20.06.2023.
4. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim, this writ petition is
disposed of directing the competent respondent authority to consider and decide the petitioner's claim in the light of the aforesaid judgments, if the petitioner is found similarly situated, by passing a reasoned and speaking
order within a period of 120 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. SD/- SD/- (Bibhu Datta Guru)
