The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (BNSS) (corresponding to Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973), seeking issuance of appropriate directions to respondents No.2 to 4 for registration of an FIR against the accused persons, who have allegedly forcibly taken possession of 3 acres of land belonging to the petitioner. 2. Counsel for the petitioner submits after arguing for some time that petitioner submitted a representation dated 08.07.2026 (Annexure P-2) to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, District Moga and he would be satisfied if appropriate direction be issued to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, District Moga to consider and decide representation dated 08.07.2026 (Annexure P-2) moved by petitioner and take necessary action thereupon in a time bound manner in accordance with law. 3. However, if, respondent No.2 does not find any substance in the allegations levelled in the representation, the petitioner shall be informed as per mandate of law. 7. Petition stands disposed of. 8.
