Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for bail on the grounds of detention of the present petitioner as well as the fact that petitioner happens to be a driver of the vehicle who has been implicated in the present case. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and draws the attention of the Court to the order passed by this Court on 02.04.2026 in CRM(NDPS) 490 of 2026. This Court on 02.04.2026 granted six months’ time to prosecution to conclude all the witnesses. Till date, 13 witnesses have already been examined. Having considered the time schedule, which has been granted, till date has not been completed, I am not inclined to accede to the prayer advanced on behalf of the petitioner. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. 2 Memo of Evidence submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1348 of 2026, is, thus, dismissed. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
