By way of this petition, the petitioner has sought the following relief(s):- “10.1 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to re- draw the gradation list of the Revenue Inspector as on 01.04.2016 (Annexure R/1) placing the petitioner above his juniors.it and proper may also be awarded to the petitioner including cost of the petition calling for the entire records pertaining to 5 the case of the petitioner for the kind perusal of the Court. 10.2 That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to set aside the promotion order dated 12.01.2018 (Annexure P/2) granting promotion on the post of Naib Tehsildar and the promotion order dated 12.01.2018 (Annexure P/3) granting promotion on the post of Asst. Supt. Land Record being voilative of Article 14 and 16 of the Constitution. 10.3 That, the Hon'ble Court ruäy kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to consider the candidature of the petitioner for promotion on the post of Naib Tehsildar or Asst. Supt. Land Record (next higher post for promotion of RI) in accordance with the correct seniority of the petitioner in the gradation list of RI cadre. 10.4 Any other relief, which this Hon'ble Court deems, fit in the facts and circumstances may also be granted in favour of the petitioner.” 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the issue involved in this petition is no longer res integra and this petition is squarely covered by this Court in batch of two petitions leading case of which being WPS No. 1369 of 2018 parties being Govindram Kashyap vs. State of Chhattisgarh and Others which was decided on 20.06.2025. 4. In the light of the submission made herein-above this Court is of the opinion that this petition is squarely covered with the judgment rendered by this Court in WPS No. 1369 of 2018 decided on 20.06.2025 in case of Govindram Kashyap vs. State of Chhattisgarh and Others. 5. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of in terms of the order passed by this Court in the case of Govindram Kashyap (supra). The petitioner would be at liberty to make a representation before Secretary, Revenue Department i.e. respondent No. 1 within a period of 30 days from today and the authority 6 concerned is directed to decide the same strictly in accordance with the law within further period of 120 days. 6.
