Subhajit Das, …for the State. Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record. The Panchayat Samity is not represented despite service. Pursuant to a notice inviting e-tender floated by the Executive Officer, Sarenga Panchayat Samity on 18th December, 2020 and a work order issued in favour of the petitioner for supply of material for construction of cement concrete road from Hansabera towards Khayerpahari with repairing of bituminous road under Sarenga Panchayat Samity, the petitioner completed the said work and raised bill of Rs.28,73,735/-. Completion certificate was issued in his favour on 5th April, 2022. But no payment has been made till date. The petitioner submitted a representation in this regard before the concerned authority on 20th June, 2025 which is yet to be considered. The petitioner seeks consideration of the same. In view of the above, the Executive Officer, Sarenga Panchayat Samity, being the 3rd respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation 2 submitted by the petitioner dated 20th June, 20205 within four weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to all concerned including the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. In the event the said authority arrives at a decision in favour of the petitioner, the due amount be disbursed in his favour within another four weeks thereof subject to the petitioner complying with the requisite formalities. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
