that the Petitioner is entitled to full pay and allowances for the suspension period, along with consequential benefits including annual increments. Despite this, the amounts claimed for the said period have not been released. A representation dated 23rd December, 2024 submitted by the Petitioner in this regard remains undecided. 3. In the present proceedings, the Petitioner, inter alia, impugns the office order placing him under suspension and seeks consequential directions for release of salary for the suspension period along with increments. 4. However, considering that the Petitioner has already submitted a representation, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the Respondent to treat the present writ petition as a representation and decide the same within a period of eight weeks from today.
In the event any amount is found payable to the Petitioner, the same shall be released. 5. In the event the Respondent concludes that no amount is payable, a speaking order shall be passed and communicated to the Petitioner. 6. All rights and contentions of the Respondent are kept open. The Petitioner shall be at liberty to avail appropriate remedies in accordance with law, if his grievance is not redressed. It is, however, clarified that the question of maintainability of any such petition shall be examined, if the need so arises. This is a digitally signed order.
