1. The present petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayer:-
“It is, therefore, prayed that the petition may kindly be allowed and the F.I.R. no. 08/2025 & Charge sheet no. 16/2025 (Annexure P-1), Registered by police station – Mahila thana, Raipur, (C.G) and its consequential prosecution, for the offences punishable under sections 498A, 34 of IPC may kindly be quashed, in respect to the petitioners, in the interest of justice.”
2. None appears for the petitioners to press this petition on repeated calls.
3.
Learned counsel for the State has pointed out that earlier two petitions, i.e. CRMP No.196 of 2026 and CRMP No.1337 of 2026 were filed by the petitioners which have been dismissed by this Court because of the defective prayer and the defect which had been pointed out.
4. From perusal of the prayer made in the present petition it transpires that petitioners have not challenged the order taking cognizance and the order dated 14.05.2026 passed in CRMP No.1337 of 2026, copy of which has been annexed with the present petition at page No.11 of the petition, shows that the earlier petitions had also suffered from the same infirmity.
5. When the matter is taken up for hearing today none appears on behalf of the petitioners to press this petition. It appears that no
3 interim order has been passed in this case and during efflux of time the petitioners have lost their interest in pursuing the present petition, hence, the petition is dismissed. Sd/- Sd/- (Ravindra Kumar Agrawal) (Ramesh Sinha) Judge Chief Justice Aadil
