JUSTICE KHATIM REZA ORAL ORDER 2 19-08-2026 Heard learned senior counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State and learned Special PP for the Vigilance. 2. The petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Mainatand PS Case No.127 of 2026 dated 11.06.2026, instituted under Sections 420, 468, 471, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code. 3. The allegation against the petitioner is that he obtained the job of Block Teacher on the basis of forged and fabricated certificate. 4. Learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was appointed as Block Teacher in the year Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59411 of 2026(2) dt.19-08-2026 2/2 2010 and the present FIR has been lodged on 01.06.2026 i.e., after 16 years of appointment, when the investigating agency found that the certificate of the petitioner is forged and fabricated. Learned senior counsel further submits that the petitioner was appointed after verification of the certificate(s) and when the petitioner came to knew about the forged document, he resigned from the service. Lastly, it is submitted that the petitioner has clean antecedents. 5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail. 6. Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Bettiah, West Champaran, in Mainatand PS Case No.127 of 2026, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 7.
