The petitioner prays for anticipatory bail on the ground of false implication. 2. The learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and produces the case diary. 3. Considering the nature of injury and the statement of the petrol pump employees, who were interrogated by the police authorities, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. Accordingly, I direct that in the event of arrest the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 corresponding to Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure. The further condition is that the petitioner shall meet the Investigating Officer once a week until further orders. The 2 petitioner shall not enter the jurisdiction of Siliguri police station, except to meet the investigating officer. He will provide his present address to the local police station. 5. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 470 of 2026 is allowed and disposed of. 6.
