JUSTICE YARENJUNGLA LONGKUMER ORDER 24/03/2026 Heard learned counsel for the applicants, Mr. Chingyang Phom. 2. The instant application has been filed under Order 6, Rule 17 of Code of Civil Procedure praying for amendment of the Cause Title in Civil Revision No. 7/2025. 3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner. It is submitted that the Civil Revision No. 7/2025 has been filed under Rule 32 of the Rules for the Administration of Justice and Police in Nagaland. However, while filing the same, Section 115 of the Code of Civil Procedure has been left out inadvertently. 4. It is also submitted that this Court had vide order dated 10.03.2026 allowed the petitioner to file an I.A for amendment of the Cause Title in the Civil Revision No. 7/2025. 5. In the aforesaid circumstances, the applicant prays that he maybe allowed to amend the Cause Title as under:- “IN THE MATTER OF: Civil Revision No. 7/2025. Shri. Tali & Anr. …..PETITIONERS -VERSUS- Shri. Chongmei & Anr. Page No.# 4/4 ….RESPONDENTS IN THE MATTER OF: An Application filed under New Rule 32 of (1984 Amendment), Rules for the Administration of Justice and Police in Nagaland, Read with Section 115 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.” 6. Learned counsel for the respondent No. 2, Mr. I. Jamir is present and has no objection. However, the learned counsel for the respondent No. 2 has submitted that by order dated 11.09.2025, this Court has directed the petitioner to strike out the names of respondent Nos. 3 and 4 from the Cause Title, the same has not been done and therefore, it is prayed that the petitioner maybe directed to delete the respondent Nos. 3 and 4. 7. Accordingly, this application is allowed. The petitioner is allowed to file the amended Cause Title and also delete the names of respondent Nos. 3 and 4 in the new amended Cause Title. The same shall be done within 1 (one) week from today. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
