Chhyal Singh Vs Himachal Gramin Bank Cr.MP No. 465 of 2026 in Cr. Revision No. 722 of 2025 05.02.2026. Present: Mr. Virender Kumar Sharma, Advocate for the applicant-petitioner. Cr.MP No. 465 of 2026 By way of present application, applicant/petitioner has prayed for extension of time to comply with the order dated 31.12.2025 passed by this Court in Cr. Revision No. 722 of 2025. In terms of said order, the judgment and order dated 29.04.2023, passed by the learned trial Court i.e Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Karsog, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh [hereinafter referred to as ‘Trial Court] in Case No. 142 of 2021, in Re; Himachal Pradesh Gramin Bank Versus Sh. Chhyal Singh, which stands affirmed by the learned Appellate Court i.e Additional Sessions Judge-1, Mandi, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh[hereinafter referred to as ‘Appellate Court’] on 12.09.2025 in Case Reg. CIS No. 105 of 2023 [Filing No. 1251 of 2023], In Re; Chhyal Singh Versus Himachal Gramin Bank, was suspended, during the pendency of Revision Petition; subject to the petitioner depositing 25% of the compensation amount [cheque amount and compensation thereon], before the learned trial Court, in addition to the amount already deposited, if any, and further subject to furnishing personal bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court within four weeks from the date of passing of said order. Applicant/petitioner has stated that he could not comply with the aforementioned conditions within a stipulated period of four weeks granted by this Court. In view of the fact that due to financial hardship, the applicant/petitioner could not deposit the amount as directed by this Court, vide order dated 31.12.2025, four weeks’ further time is granted to comply with the earlier order from today. However, it is made clear that in case the order dated 31.12.2025 is not complied with within the aforementioned period, the consequences shall ensue. The application stands disposed of.
