This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers :- “(a) quash the Office Memorandum dt. 20.03.2026 issued by the Respondent No.1, whereby it has rejected the Petitioner’s Application, in complete contravention of the principles of natural justice, as also, contrary to the directions made by this Hon’ble Court vide Order dated 06.02.2026; and (b) direct the Respondents to reconsider the Application of the Petitioner and decide the same on merits, for grant of Affiliation to the Petitioner Institution, from the ensuing academic session for the applied trades”; and / or…” 2. In the present case, petitioner institute is a newly set up institute and after having invested substantial sums of money, is seeking affiliation for conducting Trades in Electrician -12 Units (6+6), Fitter – 4 Units This is a digitally signed order. The office memorandum dated 20.03.2026 rejecting the affiliation of the petitioner shows that the mini fire tender and rescue van were not available. Additionally, one trainer was lacking in CITS certification. 4. Mr. Sharawat, learned senior counsel for the petitioner, on instructions states that the petitioner is ready and willing to remove all the deficiencies and the respondents may conduct a fresh inspection in accordance with applicable and extant regulations and norms. 5. For the said reasons, issue notice. 6. Mr. Srivastava, learned senior panel counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 7. I find the request of the petitioner reasonable. 8. For the said reasons, it is directed that the inspection of the petitioner institute will be again conducted within 4 weeks from today and in case any deficiency is noted the petitioner will be called upon to remove those deficiencies within 2 weeks thereafter and subsequently, a speaking order shall be passed processing the application of the petitioner in accordance with applicable affiliation norms. 9. The entire exercise shall be completed on or before 30.06.2026. 10. With these directions, the present petition is disposed of along with pending applications, if any.
