JUSTICE YARENJUNGLA LONGKUMER O R D E R 20.02.2026 The present application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the present petitioner praying for grant of Transit Anticipatory Bail to the applicant/petitioner. Page No.# 2/3 2. Heard learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner, Mr. Sentiyanger. 3. It is submitted that the applicant/petitioner has received a Notice under Section 35(3), BNSS dated 19.01.2026, issued by the Investigating Officer in Cyber Crime Police Station, FIR No. 133/2025 under Section 66(D), IT Act and Sections 318(4)/319(2) of the BNS, pertaining to Shivammogga Police Station, Karnataka. 4. It is submitted that the applicant/petitioner, as per Medical Certificate dated 17.02.2026 enclosed in the petition, is undergoing treatment and rehabilitation for substance use disorder and associated health concerns and he requires residential care and clinical supervision and is unfit to resume regular duties or to attend official proceedings until completion of the treatment. 5. The learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to cooperate with the investigation, however, in view of the above submissions it is prayed that he may be granted Transit Anticipatory Bail in the interest of justice. 6. The Court has perused the pleadings and has considered the submission of the learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner. 7. On considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant Transit Anticipatory Bail for a period of 60 (sixty) days to the applicant/petitioner to approach the jurisdictional court for seeking Anticipatory Bail in connection with the above mentioned case. The present Transit Anticipatory Bail granted to the applicant/petitioner shall Page No.# 3/3 expire immediately on lapse of 60 (sixty) days unless a regular anticipatory bail is granted to the applicant/petitioner by the concerned jurisdictional court. 8. The applicant/petitioner shall also appear before the Investigating Officer, before the expiry of the 60 (sixty) days and in the event of arrest, the arresting authority shall release the applicant/petitioner on executing a bail bond of Rs. 30,000/- (Rupees Thirty thousand only). 9.
