Mr. Sudhindra Das … for the De facto complainant. 1. The petitioner prays for pre-arrest bail. This is the second application. 2. Ms. Sarkar, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that there has been changed circumstance, which entitles the petitioner to pray for pre-arrest bail. 3. The notice was served upon the de facto complainant. The de facto complainant appears through her learned advocate and she is also personally present in Court. She submits that the complaint was lodged falsely. She was not aware of the contents. She was asked to sign on a blank paper. 4. Under such circumstances, the prayer for pre-arrest bail is allowed. 5. Accordingly, I direct that in the event of arrest the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.20,000/- with two sureties of like amount each, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer and also subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of the 2 BNSS. The petitioner will not leave the jurisdictional police station and cooperate with the investigation. He will meet the investigating officer once a fortnight. In the event the condition is violated, the anticipatory bail will stand automatically cancelled. 6. The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM (A) 478 of 2026 is allowed and disposed of. 7. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
