2. With consent of both the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This writ application has been filed for the following relief (s) :- (i) To direct the respondent authorities to extend the registration of the Maruti Alto Car of the petitioner bearing its registration No.-BR24 F 4098, for further the period of 5 years, from the date of 24- 08-2023, by receiving the fixed charge from the petitioner.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 25.05.2026 before the respondent No. 2 i.e. District Transport Officer (D.T.O.), Sasaram annexed as Annexure-P/4(A), which has not been disposed of as yet. He, therefore, submits that an appropriate time frame may be fixed for consideration and disposal of the said representation.

Having considered the submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioner, this Court directs respondent No. 2 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 25.05.2026 submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
