Since, she is major, she is at liberty to go wherever she wants. The police authorities are directed to ensure her safe return to the place of her choice. The petitioner is directed to deposit a fresh demand draft of Rs.1,00,000/- in the name of Ms. ‘AM’ within a period of a week from today which shall be payable to Ms. ‘AM’. On submission of fresh demand draft, the earlier demand draft dated 16.04.2026 shall be returned to the petitioner. With the aforesaid observations, this habeas corpus petition is dismissed.
