Petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue an appropriate writ, order, or direction directing the respondents to consider and decide the petitioner’s representation/objection dated 24.03.2025 in accordance with law, after granting due opportunity of hearing. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to correct and restore the petitioner’s Annual Confidential Report (ACR) for the year 2021-22 by giving effect to the original grading of Excellence “A+” awarded by the reporting officer, and by removing the contradictory and unjustified entries made at the Reviewing and Accepting stages. 10.3 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to declare that the downgraded grading of “B/ ख" recorded by the Reviewing Officer without assigning reasons is arbitrary, illegal, and violative of the principles laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court regarding communication of ACR/CCR entries. 10.4 Grant any other relief or direction that this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice.” 2. After arguing for sometime, counsel for petitioner submits that as petitioner has not submitted any representation and approached the authorities for redressal of his grievances of degradation in the ACR’s 3 / 3 which was not communicated to petitioner within the specified time, he may be permitted to submit representation before respondent no. 1 and in turn respondent no. 1 be directed to consider and take decision on representation to be submitted by petitioner, expeditiously, as petitioner is apprehending that the proceedings of promotion may be initiated shortly. 3. Learned counsel for State submits that in view of limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, she is having no objection. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the respective parties. 5. On due consideration of submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner and also keeping in mind the nature of grievance raised in this writ petition, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage, permitting petitioner to submit comprehensive representation along with all the relevant documents before respondent no. 1 and, if such a representation is submitted concerned authority shall consider and take decision on the submitted representation in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within further period of two months from the date of receipt of order. 6.
