Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the alleged recovery in the present case is 33 kg of ganja from the five persons including the present petitioner. Petitioner is in custody for one year five months and till date out of 20 witnesses two witnesses have been examined and the evidence of the 3rd witness is in progress. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner opposes the prayer for bail. Having considered the totality of the circumstances, I direct the learned trial Court to give precedence to the independent seizure list witnesses, if any, to be examined on a priority basis preferably within three months from the next date fixed. At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is dismissed. 2 Petitioner will renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses are over. Accordingly, CRM (M) 1316 of 2026 dismissed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
