CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE GIRIJISH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 2 20-08-2026 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent.
2. With consent of both the parties, this writ application is being disposed of at the stage of admission itself.
3. This writ application is filed for the following reliefs :- (i) For issuance of appropriate writ/ writs in the nature of
Patna High Court CWJC No.11230 of 2026(2) dt.20-08-2026 2/3 Mandamus
directing
and commanding the Respondents concerned to make the payment of the dues amount of petitioner for the hard and struggling work done by him in the flood control under the Agreement No.- 02 F2/2022- 2023 for the dues amount Rs.- 13,63,804/- and the statutory interest with the respondent as the Hon'ble Court deems fit. (ii) For issuance of appropriate writ/ writs in the nature of mandamus directing/commanding the respondent authorities to make the payment of the amount which is pending before the department of the said work. (iii) To any other relief/ reliefs to which the petitioner is entitled in the facts and circumstances of the case.
4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner fairly submits that the petitioner has already submitted a representation dated 04.06.2026, annexed as Annexure-P/2 (series), which has not been disposed of as yet. He, therefore, submits that an appropriate time frame may be fixed for
consideration and disposal of the said representation.
5. Having considered the submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioner, this Court directs respondent No. 6 to consider and dispose of the representation dated 04.06.2026 submitted by
Patna High Court CWJC No.11230 of 2026(2) dt.20-08-2026 3/3 the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this
order.
6. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the present writ application stands disposed of.
