1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner was given compassionate appointment on the post of Peon on 13.12.2016 and since then as of now petitioner has completed about more than 8 years. He submits that petitioner has completed the required period of service in the feeder post and has become eligible for consideration of his name for promotion on the post of Assistant Grade-III. However, petitioner has not been promoted till date. Petitioner has submitted representation before Respondent No. 2 on 09.07.2024 (Annexure P-2), however, no decision has been taken on the representation till date. Therefore, direction be issued to Respondent No. 2 to take decision on the pending representation of petitioner at the earliest.
3. Learned State counsel submits in view of the limited prayer made by learned counsel for petitioner, she is having no objection.

On due consideration of the submission made by learned counsel for the respective parties, further considering that the claim of petitioner is still pending consideration before Respondent No.2 in the representation submitted by him, I find it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition at this stage directing Respondent No. 2 to take decision on the representation submitted by petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of 04 months from the date of receipt of order passed by this Court.
