The learned advocate for the appellants submits that the subject matter of the present appeal is infructuous as the appellants have discharged their liabilities. He, however, submits that subsequent demands may be raised and for the said purpose, the appeal should be kept pending. 2. We fail to consider how based on an intangible apprehension the appeal or cause of action can be said to survive. 3. In view of such submissions that the subject matter of appeal has become infructuous, we disposed of the appeal. However, it is needless to say that the 2 appellants would be at liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law, if any occasion arises. 4.
