The instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 (Old corresponding Section is 438 Cr.P.C, 1973) for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.93 dated 11.05.2026 under Sections 303(2), 115(2), 117(2), 118(1), 118(2), 191(3), 190 BNS corresponding Sections (379, 323, 324, 325, 326, 148, 149 of IPC) reg- istered at Police Station Sadar Batala, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur. 2. This Court, vide order dated 10.06.2026, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of their arrest, they were ordered to be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.). In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the petition is allowed and the interim order dated 10.06.2026 is made absolute. The petitioner shall continue to join investigation, as and when called by the Investigating Officer and shall also abide by the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS. 6.
