The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct respondents to sanction and release the family pension along with arrears in favour of the petitioner within a fixed period. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to pay regular 2 monthly family pension to the petitioner in future without interruption. 10.3 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to pay interest @ 18% per annum on delay arrears of family pension from the date of entitlement till actual payment. 10.4 That, the Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to award costs of this petition and pass such other or futher order(s) as may be deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the case. 10.3 any other relief as deemed fit by this Hon’ble Court.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the husband of the petitioner while working on the post of Letter Carrier (Messenger) died-in- harness. After the death of the husband of the petitioner, petitioner submitted an application for grant of compassionate appointment, when it was not considered, petitioner filed writ petition bearing WP (S) No. 8/2022 which was disposed of vide order dated 26.04.2023 directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner on compassionate appointment at the earliest. He submits that petitioner has been granted compassionate appointment, however, death-cum-retiral dues, family pension is not being paid to the petitioner. She submitted representation before the Respondent No. 4 on 25.08.2025, however, till date, her representation is not considered and therefore, direction be issued to the concerned authority to consider and take decision on the representation at the earliest within specified time. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State would submit that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to the Respondent No. 4 to consider and take decision on the representation, he is having no objection to the limited prayer. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 3 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of permitting the petitioner to submit fresh comprehensive representation before the Respondent No. 4 and in the event petitioner submits representation, the concerned authority shall consider and take decision on the representation to be submitted by the petitioner on its own merits in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of representation along with pending representation. 6.
