Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner has prayed for bail on the grounds that there has been change of circumstances as two of the independent witnesses have turned hostile. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that there is another independent witness along with videographer who is left out. Records of the case reflect that there has been seizure of 110.255 kgs. of Ganja from the possession of the petitioner and three others. Having considered the aforesaid, the learned Trial Court is directed to give priority to examine the other independent witness along with the videographer, if the prosecution intends to rely upon the said witnesses. Let the evidence of the said two witnesses be completed within a 2 period of three months from the date of communication of this order. At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 1344 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
