ORDER:
1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the owner and possessor of a house property bearing Door No.14-78, admeasuring 52.5 square yards, situated at Vinukonda Town, Palnadu District. It is submitted that the petitioner's property abuts the road and that the 2nd respondent is proposing to deploy machinery with an intention to demolish a portion of the petitioner's property for the purpose of road widening. It is further submitted that no notice has been issued to the petitioner and that the respondents have not initiated any proceedings for acquisition of the petitioner's property, assuming that the same is required for a public purpose, including road widening.
2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent No.2, on oral instructions, submits that, as on date, the 2nd respondent has neither deployed any personnel nor any machinery for demolition of the petitioner's property. It is further submitted that no tender has been issued by the 2nd respondent for undertaking any road-widening work at present.
3. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2, and considering the
submissions made, this Court is of the view that the writ petition can be
disposed of at the admission stage. Accordingly, the respondents are
directed not to interfere with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of

the petitioner's house property except in accordance with law. In the event the respondents propose to undertake road widening and require the petitioner's property for such purpose, they shall do so only after following the due procedure contemplated under the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.
4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
