Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs; “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the records of the case of the petitioners. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondents to grant the petitioners the benefit of one increment accrued upon them after completion of training/ probation period, re-fix the pay of the petitioners accordingly in appropriate pay matrix level and lastly to release all consequential arrears of salary, allowances and increments flowing from such re-fixation along with interest, in accordance with law, in the interest of justice. 10.3 That, any other relief/order which may deem fit and just in the facts and circumstances of the case including award of the costs of the petition may be given” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioners were initially appointed on the post of Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer and Welfare Officers and Shift Chemist. According to the circular issued by the erstwhile Electricity Board dated 23.04.1990 and amended order issued on 21.04.2023, petitioners became eligible for grant of increment after completion of one year of training. When petitioners were not paid the said benefit, petitioners have submitted multiple representations before respondent No. 1, which too was not considered and decided therefore, this writ petition is filed. He submits that he may be permitted to submit fresh representation before the respondent No. 1 to 3 and direction be issued to the concerned authorities to consider and take decision on the representation to be submitted, at the earliest, within specified time frame. 3. Counsel for the respondent would submit that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to submit a representation to be considered and decided by respondents, he is having no objection on the limited prayer. 4. On due consideration of submission of counsel for the respective parties, considering the nature of grievance as raised in the writ petition, the representation submitted by the petitioner according to the counsel for the petitioner remain undecided, the writ petition is disposed of, at this stage, permitting the petitioner to submit fresh comprehensive representation along with all supporting documents, before respondent No. 1 to 3, and if such a representation is submitted, the concerned authorities shall consider and take decision on the representation to be submitted by petitioner, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the representation. 5.
