Having considered the respective submissions made on behalf of the parties and taking note of the contents of the communication dated 15th July, 2026 of Inspector-in-Charge, Kakdwip Police Station, Sundarban Police District, it appears that based on the complaint FIR has been registered being Kakdwip P.S. Case No.241 of 2026 dated 8th July, 2026 under certain provisions of BNS, 2023. 2. In view of initiation of aforesaid criminal prosecution grievance of the petitioner stands redressed. 3. However, petitioner submits that due to local disturbances petitioner is unable to stay at his residence at Kakdwip. 4. If petitioner conveys his willingness to stay at his residence at Kakdwip along with his family members to the concerned police authority, in that event, necessary steps shall be taken by the concerned police authority which would facilitate stay of the petitioner at his residence at Kakdwip. At the same time, it needs to be recorded that previously petitioner expressed his willingness to stay at the residence of his father-in-law which is outside the jurisdiction of Kakdwip Police Station. 6. With the above direction writ petition stands disposed of. 7. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon usual undertakings. (SAUGATA BHATTACHARYYA, J.)
