Mr. Guddu Singh, learned advocate appearing on behalf of Union of India and duly led by Mr. Trivedi, learned ASGI submits a report in the form of affidavit on behalf of the respondents no.1 to 4, which is taken on record. 3. At the time of hearing, Mr. Singh draws attention of this Court to paragraph 4 of the report, which is quoted hereinbelow in verbatim. “That the Eviction Drive was successfully completed on 01.07.2026 at 12.50 PM and approximately 13,000 Sq.Mtrs. of encroached railways area was cleared and taken over by 2 the Railway authorities for safety and operational requirements. In this regards, JOINT NOTE duly signed by all the concerned officers on 01.07.2026 was communicated to all concerned departments.” 4. It is submitted by Mr. Singh that in view of the fact that eviction drive has already been completed on 1.7.2026 nothing remains to be decided in the instant writ petition. This Court finds sufficient merit in the submission of Mr. Singh. It appears that by filing the instant writ petition the writ petitioner has challenged the legality and validity of the notice, a copy of which has been annexed at page nos.22-23 of the instant writ petition. Since eviction process has already been completed this Court considers that nothing remains to be decided in the instant writ petition and for that reason 3 probably the writ petitioners are not represented. 5. With the aforementioned observation, this writ petition is disposed of. 6.
