Charge-sheet has already been submitted and there has been no progress in the present case, as such, the petitioner may be released on bail. Petitioner submits that a case was registered at the behest of the present petitioner and as a counterblast the present case has been instituted. Learned advocate for the de facto complainant is present and opposes the prayer for bail. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case 2 diary. I have taken into account the statement of the victim under Section 183 of the BNSS. Materials suggest regarding the conduct and character of the accused persons. At this stage, without the evidence of the victim girl being complete, it would not be fit and proper to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(M)1278 of 2026 is dismissed. Memo of Evidence submitted by the State be kept with the record.
